MINX was co-founded by Alison Bonnici in 2006. After playing their inaugural season at Melbourne Netball under the Alias "Pop Tarts," and narrowly missing out on finals, the team immediately undertook a revamp, which included new players and a new identity. Taking on the name MINX, the team immediately made a 2nd year impact on the competition, finishing 3rd in a grueling finals series. MINX are in their 4th season at Melbourne Netball and are defending champions, having won the 2007 Grand Final 17 - 10 over arch rivals the Smurfs.

MINX look to continue their winning ways in the 07/08 season and are off to a 1-1 start. They are approaching full strength again, and with the re-inclusion of AB Bonnici in a few games, will be full of running and eyeing another top 2 finish!
